Office Administrator / Clerk

Job Location: Johannesburg –  Closing date: 6 July 2018

We seek a highly capable person who can grow with the company. This role will combine the responsibilities of an executive assistant, with basic financial management and office administration duties. 

Key responsibilities:

 

  • Administrative support to other directors
  • Efficient and professional administrative support to the MD, including management of diary, appointments, and contacts
  • Manage client and contact databases
  • Reception and telephone answering duties
  • Update project management calendars
  • Prepare marketing presentations
  • Prepare invoices (Sage One)
  • Manage payables and receivables
  • Oversee and coordinate general office administration
  • Minute meetings as required
  • Book travel

 

  • Update and manage filing systems
  • Produce a range of business correspondence to a high professional standard

Qualifications

 

  • Administrative and/or legal secretarial qualification
  • Minimum grade 12 (matric)
  • Bookkeeping or accounting background
  • Excellent English writing skills
  • Advanced MS Office skills, including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Basic familiarity with Apple platforms
  • Excellent typing skills
  • Valid drivers licence
